Defeat These 3 Nasty Wet Weather Stains with Wet & Forget Outdoor!
The past weeks have seen so much rain across the country, many of us have almost felt ready to float away. If you live in one of the rain-soaked zones, you might have seen ugly wet weather stains such as algae, moss, mold and mildew popping up all over the place.
Left to themselves, these disgusting growths will continue to take over your outdoor surfaces, leaving them looking bad, smelling awful, and maybe even permanently damaged. Using bleach or a power washer is a big hassle, and will not prevent growths from coming back.
Wet & Forget Outdoor defeats these gross growths and keeps them from coming back for a year or more in most cases, all with no scrubbing! Read on to see how.
1. Ugly Algae
Black or green algae can thrive anywhere with an abundant water supply. Shade-loving green algae has been especially happy during the cloudy weather that many of us have been having.
Algae can infect concrete sidewalks, porches or driveways, bricks, roofs, decks, and siding. Green algae frequently invade the north-facing walls of your house, and shady areas such as the porch or patio beneath the awning.
Wet & Forget removes both black and green algae without the need for bleach or a power washer. Just spray and walk away to zap algae on any outdoor surface, and keep it from coming back for a year or more in most cases. It’s that easy!
2. Stubborn Moss
Moss is that green, fuzzy growth that can seem to crop up everywhere during damp weather (see photo above). It can grow on everything from bricks to asphalt, and can even lead to serious damage on surfaces such as your concrete driveway, your wooden deck, and your roof.
Using a pressure washer to remove moss is a pain, and one wrong move can knock your rain gutter or downspout loose, or tear shingles off your roof. Bleach will sting your eyes and ruin your clothes, and can corrode your rain gutters or kill your lawn.
Wet & Forget’s non-caustic formula kills moss and releases its grip on outdoor surfaces without damaging the surface you’re trying to protect. And you don’t have to worry about runoff from your roof killing your lawn after the next rain, like can happen if you use harsh chemicals such as bleach.
Choose Wet & Forget Outdoor, and say goodbye to damaging moss!
3. Smelly Mold and Mildew
“Mold and mildew” is the term we use to describe disgusting fungal growth that can attack just about any outdoor surface. Mold and mildew is a slimy, smelly growth that can be black, gray or white, and that thrives in dark, damp places.
This duo can grow on the side of your house (click here to see a disgusting photo), under awnings, or on outdoor furniture cushions.
If you use bleach or a power washer to remove mold and mildew, this disgusting fungus will start growing back almost immediately. And bleach spells disaster for most outdoor furniture cushions, where it causes permanent stains and can even eat holes in the fabric.
Wet & Forget Outdoor puts a stop to mold and mildew, and keeps it from coming back for a year or more in most cases. The choice is simple!

Bonus Wet Weather Tip: Battling Mosquitoes
Wet Weather isn’t just an invitation fr ugly stains–it also rolls out the red carpet for pesky, disease-spreading mosquitoes. Here’s an article filled with information about natural repellents to keep these bad bugs away.
Also, remember to check all around your property for any standing water, which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Most North American mosquito species have a very limited flight range, so ridding your property of all standing water, no matter how small the source, will go a long way towards protecting your family from mosquito bites.
Don’t forget to look up when you’re checking for standing water. Mosquitoes can breed in the standing water in high-up spots such as depressions in your home’s rain gutters.
