Wet & Forget Outdoor Cleaner comes 3 different ways for the perfect application:
Wet & Forget Xtreme Reach™ Hose Endis recommended for applications on higher surfaces, such as roofing, siding, or chimneys because it can reach up to 30ft using the jet tip. The hose-end sprayer also comes with a fan tip for maximum coverage on large surfaces such as driveways, patios, and decks.
Wet & Forget Ready-To-Use is ideal for smaller applications such as planters, statues, and headstones.
Wet & Forget Outdoor Concentrateis perfect for most medium to large surfaces such as fences, patios, and walkways. Dilute with water in a garden sprayer for a quick and easy application.
Wet & Forget Concentrate Application: Dilute the product using a 1 part Wet & Forget to 5 parts water mixing ratio in a garden pump sprayer. If you have a one gallon sprayer, add 2 1/2 cups (20 oz.) of product to your sprayer, and fill the rest with water up to the one gallon mark. Apply Wet & Forget Outdoor to a DRY outdoor surface until thoroughly saturated. Wet & Forget is best applied in cool, dry conditions to avoid evaporation. Do not use if rain is in the forecast within 4-5 hours. Avoid application during the warmest part of the day or hot days, to avoid evaporation which can diminish results. Temperatures need to be above 32 degrees during application and for approximately 5 hours after.
Wet & Forget Xtreme Reach™ Hose End Application:
Connect Wet & Forget Xtreme Reach™ Hose End to your garden hose and choose the best tip for your specific application. The fan tip is best for general applications and large surfaces at ground level. The jet tip is best for height and distance. Next, turn your water spigot on. Turn the black dial to the ‘WATER’ position and rinse down nearby plants before applying. Then, point the Xtreme Reach™ Nozzle at the surface you are treating and turn the dial to the ‘ON’ position to begin application. Once the application is complete, turn the dial to the ‘WATER’ position to rinse off any overspray on plants or windows. Turn your water spigot off and let the remaining fresh water run through the Xtreme Reach™ Nozzle to release the pressure. Finally, remove Xtreme Reach™ Hose End from your garden hose.

Reaction Time: Once treated with Wet & Forget, green growths such as algae will clean up within a few days or weeks in most cases. Black stains caused by mold and mildew can take a month, sometimes several months. Worse-case scenario, heavy black stains that have built-up for many years can take six months – 1 year to come clean. Be Patient. Good Things Take Time.
You’ll never have to wait for results after your first initial cleaning; you’ll move to an annual maintenance application to keep those surfaces mold-free.
Maintenance: Repeat application once a year or at the first sign of new moss, mold, mildew or algae growth.
Treating Moss: To get rid of moss, thoroughly saturate the moss making sure the Wet & Forget Outdoor soaks through and comes in contact with the surface the moss has attached itself to. Over the next few days or weeks, you’ll notice the moss turning brown, curling up and detaching from the surface. The wind and rain will help wash away any remaining moss.
Treating Lichen: Lichen is a complex combination of fungus and algae that have learned to live together, forming a unique type of growth. Lichen can cause pitting on outdoor surfaces. The symbiotic relationship between the fungus and algae makes lichen very hardy and difficult to get rid of. But don’t worry–even this robust growth is no match for Wet & Forget Outdoor. Use a garden sprayer to thoroughly saturate the lichen with a solution of 1 part Wet & Forget Outdoor and 5 parts water. Wait 15 minutes, and spray a second time. The outer shell will soften during this time so Wet & Forget can penetrate the lichen’s inner layer. It is best to spray lichen on a day that is not too sunny, to prevent rapid evaporation and to allow Wet & Forget more time to work.
