A Clean Sidewalk is a Snap with Wet & Forget Outdoor
The sidewalks around your home are often the first things your guests see when they come to visit. But if your sidewalk is stained with black algae, covered with slippery patches of green algae or mold and mildew, or marked up with moss or lichen, you aren’t exactly rolling out the welcome mat. Let Wet & Forget Outdoor get rid of these embarrassing, gross and potentially damaging growths, and get the clean sidewalk you and your family deserve!
Read on to find out how.
Black Algae: That Ugly “Soot-Stained” Look
Black algae can grow in just about any spot that has a little moisture. Its dark coloring protects it from the sun, which makes it able to grow in even the brightest areas.
Black algae thrives on roofs, where it often has a streak-like appearance, and on sunny areas of your sidewalk. Black algae can leave your sidewalk stained black or a dark charcoal gray, as if it’s covered in soot.
Using bleach or a pressure washer to remove black algae from your sidewalk is a labor-intensive project.
Plus, the algae will start to grow back almost from the moment you finish. Worse yet, bleach runoff can kill your lawn, and a pressure washer can leave you with a muddy mess.
Wet & Forget Outdoor works with the wind and rain to safely and gently remove black algae from your sidewalk, and keep it from coming back for a year or more in most cases.
Take a look at the amazing results Joni D. and her family got using Wet & Forget Outdoor on their sidewalks and concrete driveway.
Joni told us: “I didn’t realize how unbelievable the results were until my brother-in-law, who I had been raving about the product to, showed me a satellite shot of my house and neighborhood. My house had the only clean driveway and sidewalks in about a 6 block radius!”
Thanks to Wet & Forget Outdoor, Joni now has the cleanest sidewalks in the neighborhood.
Green Algae on Concrete: Clean Sidewalk of Slick, Slimy and Gross Growth
Green algae is black algae’s shade-loving cousin. It can pop up on areas of your sidewalk that are shaded by trees or the side of your house.
Not only does it stain your sidewalk an unsightly green; it can also be extremely slippery, posing a hazard to friends or family who walk on your sidewalk.
Wet & Forget Outdoor zaps green algae and leaves your sidewalk clean and algae-free.
Wet & Forget Outdoor annihilates green algae faster than any other growths, with many customers reporting results within a couple of days after application. Better yet, spraying your sidewalk with Wet & Forget Outdoor just once a year will keep green algae away in most cases.
Choose Wet & Forget Outdoor, and say goodbye to green algae on your sidewalk!
Moss: a Fuzzy Threat to Your Sidewalk
Moss is a fuzzy green simple plant that can grow on your sidewalk, especially in partially-shaded areas. A moss-covered sidewalk not only looks bad, though–moss can penetrate tiny cracks in concrete, making them grow larger and leading to further damage.
Protect your sidewalk from moss with Wet & Forget Outdoor. Wet & Forget kills moss and causes its root-like structures to release their grip on your sidewalk, so the moss can be swept away by the wind and rain or with a light brushing. Keep your sidewalk free of moss with Wet & Forget Outdoor!
Mold and Mildew: Disgusting and Dirty
Mold and mildew is a smelly, slimy fungal growth that grows in damp, shaded areas. This nasty duo can invade shady areas of your sidewalk, leaving it a slick, disgusting mess.
Wet & Forget Outdoor removes mold and mildew on your sidewalk and keeps it away for a year or more in most cases. Just spray your sidewalk with Wet & Forget Outdoor, and let us do the work for you!
Lichen: a Stubborn, Multi-Layered Growth
Lichen is a multi-layered organism that can grow on nearly any outdoor surface, including your sidewalk. It is a scaly growth that comes in a rainbow of colors, from yellow, to green, to red. It is very hardy, stubborn, and difficult to remove.
Lichen is no match for Wet & Forget Outdoor, though. Wet & Forget Outdoor penetrates lichen’s layers, killing it and leaving your sidewalk clean again. Click here for special instructions on removing lichen with Wet & Forget Outdoor.

I was so excited to read about this product and where to purchase. Is it ok for my pets to walk on after it has dried? I saw this on Today Show. Thank you, thank you.
Wet And Forget
Hi Elena,
Wet & Forget is fine to use if you have pets. As you said, the surface is fine for your pets to walk about once the initial application has completely dried. Let me know if you have any other questions or feel free to give us a call at 888-727-8524

Hi Monica,
If you have a lighter growth or green growth on the surface, you can start to see results in about a week or two. If you have a thicker or heavier dark growth on the surface you can start to see results in about a month or two.
