Water Feature Fountain
November 20, 2014
Outdoor Cleaning

Water Feature

Wet & Forget works on any outdoor surfaces that are infested with mold, mildew, moss, and algae. Even a large outdoor water feature such as a fountain and waterfall can also benefit from Wet & Forget.

Usually, people have to clean these types of features every couple of weeks. This can be quite a process as you need to empty them every time before a cleaning process can begin.

Then harsh chemicals work without intense scrubbing and rinsing off surfaces. Doing this every couple of weeks is less than ideal.

Wet & Forget cleans the surface properly, which keeps it mold and mildew free longer. Plus, Wet & Forget doesn’t require any scrubbing or rinsing. The product only needs to dry.

Unsightly growths on water features are eyesores to homeowners, city parks, and hotel guests. In addition, many water features such as fountains contain delicate materials damaged with caustic chemicals.

Leaving these growths unattended will also cause damage as the growth eats into the surfaces of the structure.

Wet & Forget is a gentle product that lets mother nature do the work for you. Wind & rain gently clean the surface.

Water that runs over the surface of the water feature or fountain simulates the rainfall and assists Wet & Forget in keeping the surface clean.

How To Clean A Water Feature With Wet & Forget!
  1. Turn off the water feature; remove any plants in the water.
  2. Drain the feature.
  3. Let the surfaces of the water feature dry.
  4. Dilute Wet & Forget 1 part to 5 parts water and spray on the water feature.
  5. Let the Wet & Forget dry completely. This usually takes 4-5 hours.
  6. Fill it with water and turn it on.

It is important to note that Wet & Forget cannot be used in water features that contain fish. It will also not work on a floating growth on top of the water.
