Amazing Video

We’d like to share a link to this amazing performance from the April 13 audition for Britain’s Got Talent. The shadow dance group “Attraction” tells the touching story of a family’s love and sacrifice.

This deeply moving story from our allies across the ocean is a familiar one for many families here at home who have lost loved ones in service of our country. We share this video to thank our veterans and their families for their sacrifice.

Memorial Day Facts

Memorial Day began just after the Civil War, when it was called “Decoration Day.” Congress voted in 1971 to make Memorial Day an official federal holiday.

Since then, we have continued to celebrate Memorial Day on the last Monday in May as a way to thank the men and women who have died in service of our country.
