When we get questions regarding Wet & Forget’s effectiveness on vinyl, it typically concerns boat seating. For example, here’s an inquiry we recently received:

Q: Can I use Wet & Forget on the vinyl seating on my pontoon boat?

A: You sure can, but there are some special instructions for these applications. When applying Wet & Forget to the boat seats, keep people and pets off the surface during application and overnight. Be sure to apply when your boat is at least 100 ft. away from any pond, lake, river or stream. The next day, before the seats are used, rinse it down with water. Did you know, you could also use Wet & Forget to clean any moss, mold, mildew, or algae on your boat? Read how you can prep your boat for the water.

      Hi Ronnie,
You’ll want to apply a good heavy amount of Wet & Forget to dry boat seats, and allow the application to fully dry. Next, you can either wait on the rain or periodically rinse the surface with water and a brush to speed up the process. Wet & Forget will continue working for up to a year or more to clean, and to keep clean.
